THOMPSONS 1 LITRE EMERGENCY ROOF SEAL
Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal gives instant all weather protection and repair to a variety of roofing materials. The hydrophobic coating cures to form a flexible, weatherproofing membrane which repels moisture to repair and seal the substrate. The flexible formulation contains added fibres for superior tensile strength and crack bridging qualities ensuring a tough repair to leaking and damaged roofs. The breathable formulation repels moisture and ensures trapped moisture can escape from within the substrate. Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal is an all weather solution and has been engineered for application in all weather conditions; the advanced hydrophobic formulation repels water allowing application on wet or dry surfaces and can even be applied underwater ensuring immediate protection against the elements.

Effectively immediately, in normal drying conditions, touch dry within 24 hours.
Compatability
Do not use on surfaces treated with stearate or silicone based repellents.
Preparation
Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal can be used in all weather conditions including very low temperatures assuming no surface frost, ice or snow is present. In very cold circumstances it is advisable to store Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal at room temperature prior to application. If applying Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal in wet conditions where possible brush water from any surfaces which have ponded and follow the directions for application. If applying Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal in dry conditions remove dirt, dust and any loose chippings or flaking material. Rusty corrugated metal should be neutralised first with a proprietary rust treatment. After removing surface debris prepare the surface to be treated by repairing all structural faults, filling any cracks and voids with Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal; and level any depressions where ponding may occur.
Application
Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal requires no primer. Apply using a brush working the product well into the area to be repaired. Ensure faulty areas are fully covered, surface water has been displaced, and the correct level of coverage achieved. In cases of application in adverse weather conditions it may be necessary to inspect the repair to ensure adequate coverage - recoat as required at any time. Where major joint movement may occur; embed a reinforcing scrim bandage into the first coat of Thompson's Emergency Roof Seal.
Clean Up
Clean equipment immediately after use with white spirit or brush cleaner. Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning.
